dewhurst cool air

Looking at the picture with the white template taped to the hood. The template is the shape of the aluminum with the 2 x 2 soft foam attached to the radiator. The upper profiled shape of the aluminum follows the inside shape of the hood with approx. 1/2 inch clearance and the hood seals on the 2 x 2 soft foam. On the drivers side the aluminum is cut off short of the headlight cover leaving a open space for air to flow into the drivers side of the engine bay. There is no MazdSpeed cover between the radiator and front hood opening.
One picture from above is showing the radiator to hood seal, and the filter/alum intake tube and AFM.
The third picture, looking at the lower mounting bolts attaching the cooling fan to the lower radiator you will see an attached piece of aluminum maybe 2 to 3 inches wide mounted vertical with gray 2 x 2 soft foam which is attached to the front side of the aluminum. The alum piece and foam are the full width of the radiator. Notice the cut-out in the aluminum for the lower radiator hose.
