ICM Alignment Kit

This is the latest alignment system for the Mazda MX-5 Miata. Systems available for both NA and NB generations of Miata. Combining precisely fabricated lightweight Aluminum components and the time tested method of using a string box to create a perfect reference box around the car allowing you to adjust the alignment both the front and rear wheels for an efficient thrust angle and the amount of toe on each corner so that you can adjust for different track conditions or driving styles. This is the same method top teams, including Formula 1 and CART have used for years. With this system you can do a better job of aligning your own car than almost any alignment shop. This system has gone through many revisions/improvements over the last several years.

System includes the powder coated frames, vinyl coated clips, rulers, instructions, and anodized horizontal string bars:

Wheel Plates 4x100

ICM Alignment plates make aligning your car easier and more accurate. The ICM Alignment plates are designed to complement the ICM Alignment system or any laser or string based alignment system. A plate is bolted onto each wheel using the specially machined wheel nuts that fixture the plate precisely. Once the plate fixtures are in place it is a MUCH simpler and more accurate process to square the string box. The plates have an index mark in the center to provide a consistent measuring point. Using the center index point on the plates rather than the axle centers provides a more consistent measurement surface and reduces measurement error as the offset from the string or laser box to the plate is a smaller distance. In addition, the plates provide a consistent plane surface that allows measurement of caster and camber using lower cost standard digital or bubble type gauges with a magnetic adapter. True hands free operation! Check out the Digital Caster Camber Gauge elsewhere in the store. Take your wheels, hubs, and dust caps, out of the equation when setting up your string or laser alignment system. This system works with the Miata, BMW E30, Honda, and other cars that utilize a 4x100 pattern with 60 degree taper 12x1.5mm studs.

Spec Miata Toestick

The ICM SM (Spec Miata) Toe Stick greatly speeds up the process of checking toe in/out with a string or laser alignment system. No more going back and forth with a ruler to measure toe in or out. Simply hold the ICM Toe Stick up to the wheel and read both sides of the wheel with a quick glance. Designed for use with the ICM Alignment system, this tool can be used with most other laser or string based systems as well. Constructed using 6061 aluminium and CNC machined for accuracy. The wide ruler blocks make it easy to place and hold the tool against the wheel face, providing fast and more consist readings. This unit is desiged specifically for use with the 15" rims used for Spec Miata or other 15" diameter wheels. This model is non-adjustable. If you need an adjustable unit we have that covered as well elsewhere in the catalog. This tool is a perfect complement to the ICM Alignment system or any laser or string based system. Purchase the ICM Toe Stick and a Digital Camber Gauge and we'll throw in the magnetic adapter for the Toe Stick that allows the Digital Camber Gauge to be attached to the toe stick. One tool does it all - camber, caster, and toe when the Toe Stick is combined with the Digital Camber Gauge. No bling here, just function. Anodizing costs money.
