NASA shows a New Years weekend race on the schedule.

Anyonw know if the track will be ready?

Is SCCA planning any events for NOLA in 2012?

Not much talk about this new track on the forum.
I for one am excited about it because it is only 4 hours away -
the closest to Destin, FL!

It's still a construction site, although the karting track is done. You can keep up with it here: http://www.nolamotor.com/live-webcam

First NASA/NOLA event is coming up March 3&4. It will be a fairly small event and a test run for the new region. NASA Texas will be going for a crossover in early November 2012.
