Add to this - after you do your "heat cycle run", if possible ( really try to do this) take the tires off the car and cover them with some sort of heavy blanket, sleeping bag, thermal blanket etc. and let the tires cool gradually to ambient temps......slowly is the key. The longer they sit (we're talking days here, preferably not hours) the better.
