RESTRICTOR PLATES - Order now for MSRH Race!


Contact SCCA Enterprises at 303-693-2111 to purchase your restrictor plates.


NASA TX will also be pre-purchasing 12 plates and will have them "AT MSRH". These will be sold on a first come - first serve basis.

2012 RULES:

  • 1990 - 93 No restrictor required / Weight 2300
  • 1994 - 97 1.8L engine powered vehicles must use a forty-five (45.0) millimeter throttle restrictor / Weight 2350 lbs.
  • 1999 - 2000 1.8L engine powered vehicles must use a thirty-eight (38.0) millimeter throttle restrictor / Weight 2400 lbs.
  • 2001 and up 1.8L engine powered vehicles must use a forty (40.0) millimeter throttle restrictor / Weight 2400 lbs.

The throttle restrictor shall be placed between the throttle body and plenum. All intake air shall pass through the restrictor plate. Restrictor plates must be the proper size as listed in the Specification Table, must be from Mazdaspeed SCCA Enterprises, and must not be modified.

If you want to really make that pass down the long straight, I have a slightly used 41 mm plate.
Or maybe you just don't feel its enough of a challenge, i also have a NIB 37 mm plate.
