Already 20 signed up for SM, and we usually get a few stragglers. I am super bummed that I won't be there for the SM racing and doubly bummed that I'll miss the enduro. But, Laura and I will be on a [free!] trip to Cancun, so I expect no sympathy... ;-)

Should be a competitive weekend - a few out-of-town and not-NASA-regulars hot shoes are on the entry list.

Please don't crash into each other and have a great weekend!

I've got two things to post... First, here's who is taking home the contingency cash in NorCal. This is an awesome program that NASA and Toyo worked together on this year, and I want everyone to know that there's a lot of money out there available to offset your tire budget! If we cross the 20 car threshold, almost all of the payouts go up significantly. Recruit your friends!!

Everyone is bringing their rain tires right? Weather channel says hance of rain is 30% Saturday and 40% on sunday. Is up from 0 an 10% as of Friday morning.

Well, PTE #4 Rookie, the faded red Miata running HPDE4/Comp Eval tomorrow is at the track. I'm at the Courtyard Marriot. If anybody wants to wonder by tomorrow and say "Hi" I'm in the paddock with the HPDE/non-specified race classes even though I was really tempted to park with the SM crowd...

Not what you care about, but Donny signed me off in the first HPDE4 session this morning so I'm running the 2:10pm PTE race this afternoon, and tomorrow. :-) Try not to run me over guys!
