Traqdash with Go Pro Install + Innovate

It’s all working correctly except the shift lights are not lit.
I downloaded the software update for the go pro and the traqdash. I connected the Ground, RPM wire and the analog input for the Innovate air fuel gauge. It all works, the RPM was reading, the spedo, the Innovate was reading camera was turning on and off, all was working except the shift lights on the top of the Traqdash?
Anyone have an idea of what I missed, its getting an RPM signal so that is not it. There must be a on off some place for the shift light. When you chose Spec miata it sets the defaults for the redline, so I am not sure what I missed?

>Have you ever posted and then wish you could delete it? Well this is one. It occurred to me I am doing this test in my driveway, in order to get the shift light >working, you have to get the RPM up to The shift points. Sorry, about that, looks like it all works as advertised.
About to order the interface hardware and I'm looking to do it on the cheap. I already use a GoPro HD for my video so I've got the roll bar mount. Is the "milled case back" worth $25 or can the stock case be modified easily with a Dremel? The HD camera "cable delete" subtracts $50. Do any of the cables that came with the GoPro work for this application? I assume I'll need to sell my current "RPM input adapter" that's a huge plug that connects to the TM main unit...

Its pretty hard to do anything Traqmate on the cheap, but to answer, I modified my case with a Dremel took about 3 min. to do, simple. The cable from the Go pro to the TM module looks to be special but I really do not know, The new go pro module already has an RMP input so you can sell your old one.About to order the interface hardware and I'm looking to do it on the cheap. I wish the Dash was more configurable, too. You get a pretty display, but there could be more efficient use of the screen space if it wasn't so videogame-like.

What size data chip are you using. I have a 16 gb but the GO pro will split the files into two files after about 35 min. on mine. I would check to see if its just not starting a new file or if the chip is out of memory.I tried this setup for the first time this weekend and it looks like it's gonna be really slick. But mine has a problem: The recording of data and video ends at exactly 25 minutes, 50.27 seconds every time. The dash looks like it's still recording but it's not. Quite irritating. I've posted a question on their forum and sent an email. Waiting for a reply.

What video quality setting are you running at? Has a huge impact on file size. On my Sony it automatically creates a new file when it gets to 2 GB, guess in deference to the old Windows legacy systems. Hate the added step of having to mux two video files together, so I set the recording quality at mid level to keep file size under 2GB. Obviously for enduros no way to avoid it.

Frank, you may be on to something here. The video begins when I start the system (usually at the 3 minute whistle) and the files are about 34 min long and 3.5 to 3.6 GB in size. The GoPro may be making a new file and the Traqmate can't restart so it stops recording data, too. Interesting.
I'll look at file length for my non-Traqmate video files and see what I'm getting there.
