Looks like rain for the weekend at TWS! Are the RA-1 Wets allowed? Or do I need to run the Hoosier H2O tires?

Trevor, I don't see anything in the sups that would indicate you can run the RA-1's. That said, I have heard a couple of people saying they didn't have any H2O's and were going to be using the RA1 wets...

c. Tires:
1. National Competition
All cars shall use the P205/50ZR15 Hoosier “SM 6” Spec
Miata Dry or the P205/50R15 Hoosier “H2O” Spec Miata
Wet tires.
2. Regional Competition
Tires must conform to 9.3.45. Individual regions may
require spec tires for regional races. Supplemental regulations
for specific events should be checked.

So for a regional race RA-1s should be fine, but national races require H20s...

Hoosier wets should be faster than RA-1's, I certainly wouldn't protest anyone that was faster than me on inferior tires :)

If I'm on hoosier drys and another guy is on toyo wets and they beat me for a national win, I wouldn't hesitate to throw paper.

Rob

if its raining and you're driving Hoosier H20's and the guy that beats you is driving Toyos, time to consider another past time.!! :D No comparison between the two - it can be as much as 6 seconds a lap on a 2min track depending on the track and how much water is down.

Satire is primarily a literary genre or form, although in practice it can also be found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon.
