Just a note to let you know registration is now open for our May 19-20 Rational / Track Trials / Pro-IT / PDX weekend at Road Atlanta. Links to the Supps, schedule(s), and registration are available at www.AtlantaSCCA.org. For SEDiv drivers hoping to qualify for the Runoffs this will be your last chance prior to the Double Rational at Barber Motorsports Park over Labor Day weekend.

There will also be a link to the track sanctioned test day on Friday, May 18.


This will also be the first 2012 race for Atlanta Region's SM2 class. Based on input from the racers, SM2 is now open to all generations of Spec Miatas and is instead determined by "intensity level" of the driver. Rules can be found here: http://www.atlantasc...s/SM2 Rules.pdf

FYI - in response to concerns expressed in the past about our paddock situation we are currently reviewing our Paddock Guidelines and have implemented a personnel change. When completed those new guidelines will be posted on our Atlanta Region website as well.

Just a reminder that pre-registration for the May 19-20 Road Atlanta Rational (concurrent National & SARRC) / Pro-IT / Track Trials / PDX (whew!) closes at noon EDT next Tuesday, May 15. This is the last chance for SEDiv drivers to earn Runoffs points without going Out Of Division until Labor Day weekend, plus it one of two weekends at Road Atlanta to earn SARRC points.

Atlanta Region does not deposit funds until after the event and there's a full refund for no-shows, so go ahead and sign up now if you think there's even the slightest chance you'll make it.
