Hot off his 2011 DNF Championship, Rick Deerwester is trying to establish himself as the frontrunner for 2012 with a broken tranny at the NASA event at Mid-Ohio.

LOL! I have it on good authority the trans is now fixed.... How well it is fixed remains to be seen? :scratchchin: But is it a DNF is he never started the race? This year maybe he is after a new championship in the DNS category

As a member of the RCS Committee, "Spec Miata races in GLD that are part of the Regional Championship Series (currently all of them), are Open Tire."

I truly appreciate all the sincere best wishes from my erstwhile competitors for the GLD DNS/DNF 2012 championship. I now have a solid start on the NASA side. Now if I can only do so well at my first SCCA event...
