NASA Texas is proud to announce that long time SM racer Trevor McCallion is stepping into the shoes of Spec Miata Series Director. Trevor will be taking the reigns from Myron Perry who has held the position for several years. Myron will be taking a step back from the administrative side for a well deserved break and we would like to thank him for the years of dedication he has given us.

Trevor has been competing in Spec Miata with NASA and SCCA for the past six years, compiling many podium finishes and regional and divisional championships along the way.

As Trevor mentioned, "Ever since I was a little boy, I dreamed of racing a car. I would setup tracks and race my hot wheels cars all over the living room. After attending a NASA event in late 2004, I was hooked and built a Spec Miata and got my provisional and racing license from NASA." He obviously has an ingrained passion for the sport and that was a key factor in his selection. NASA is looking forward to having Trevor on board and helping to maintain and grow this highly popular class.

Trevor continues, "I thoroughly enjoy the competition and camaraderie. I'm looking forward to working with the NASA Spec Miata Class and seeing everyone at the track." As with his sentiments, we look forward to the same and the increased fun factor that goes with it.

Yep Myron was a great SD. He'd start at the back with Comp students to "monitor their skills". Wonder if Top Dog Trevor will have to do the same?
