Good to know, Dave, thanks! What about the differential? In my old racecar I would use Redline 75w90. Any reason not to use that in a Mazdacomp diff, or is there another preferred oil?

Hmm i've been using atf in my protege for three seasons now without a problem. from what i've heard the miata transmission is the same as the protege just in a different case.

FWIW : It's been awhile , but if I remember correctly , the Spec Racer Ford gearbox uses ATF
