There are many views and opinions of Afghanistan, this compilation of time lapses which I took over the first half of my deployment to eastern Afghanistan is meant to show another side of the country, one we may not see very often. Surrounded by daily violence, the skies and surrounding mountains offer an oasis of serenity that isn't too common in our work. Enjoy!
