Ladies and Gentleman,

Please note that a new TV comedy/ racing series is showing on Speed Channel Feb 23 and 25, 2013.

It is starring comedian John Reep ( That thing got a Hemi?) and I am fortunate to be in at least two of the episodes. Please show your support by watching it.

Also starring Kenny Wallace, John Snyder ( Dukes of Hazzard) and others. Keep an open mind, it’s silly satire but the racing is real for the most part. The premise is Redneck muscle cars road racing against younger racers in tuner/ foreign cars.

Many of the racers are SCCA/ NASA/ NASCAR and others. Support the show, support racing. The SCCA and NASA participants represented SCCA and NASA very well.

Cliff

I am not sure which episodes I will be in. I will be all over  but in some and not some character. We had many different walks of life come through and very diverse. There were miata's, Lambro's, Audi, A SCCA/NASA BMW champ,

a Porche champ, Big Foot monster truck driver, Ken Squier ( Hall of Fame NASCAR Announcer) that was announcing the races. He did an excellent job putting up with John Reep's antics, Kevin King and the Year One gang out of Braselton, GA. The commercials do not do it justice. We are hoping you all will watch and have good reviews.

Need all the support we can get.

Feb 23, 25 and almost everyday and night thereafter on SPEED.

Thanks!

Cliff

Is it the same show shown twice or 2 different shows? Or a whole bunch of shows?

Gotta be honest. Based on the promo I saw, I don't think I'll be a fan. This looks to be a horrible version of American Top Gear (which is a horrible version of the BBC version). Rick

I was hopeful, and not just because I'm in the business, but that show was horrible. sorry cliff, I hope I'm the exception and the ratings are great. I think you could do more with a SM weekend edited to 22 minutes.

Got to agree with Rusty...pretty weak. That guy is a poor imitation of Larry the Cable guy. And everybody knows(at least car people)how phony it is. But did get a good laugh when the old boy in the Fairline plowed through the first corner into the sand trap!

Not a fan of the show Pinks either...nothing real about it.

I will come back to the show when the miata shows up!

Thought it was entertaining.  Loved the looks Ken Squire was shooting the Hemi dude.  We'll see where it goes.  Obviously none of us here understands the common consumer.  If that was the case, pinks would have been gone long, long ago :)

I have an opinion so I must be right

Watched 3 episodes of this show and I loved it.

Im surprised that most of the import drivers didn't had any road course experience yet they drove good, like hitting the apex of corners as they should.

We can see from this show how muscle cars (even thought they have a kinda pro driver) are just all over the place, they cannot keep tight in the corners.

Things I observed in this show.

1. Ken squire really has a catchy and clear voice even though he speaks softly.
2. Classic muscles cars with race specs is a jewel in the eye.
3. Unpgraded imports with medium sized engines can beat big engined v8s
4. Upgraded imports with tiny high HP ricer engines are fast at the expense of reliability. (one 95 civic had blown engine)
5. Stock track cars like the lotus exige doesn't have enough oomph against the supercharged v8s
6. Stock BMW M 7 series v10 is just too heavy to race in a track. Now I dont see any reason why people should buy a 7 series M sport instead of a luxury 7 series. If they want a fast car on track then an M3 would have been fine.

Pinks is garbage, but Pinks All Out isn't too terrible.

Pass Time isn't a bad show, kinda fun to play along.

Like all shows, it needs to be tuned.

Pinks is entertaining because of the close et, (spec) time. Close finishes, driver reaction time.

Then again, didn't Cliff get beat in his 600hp Camaro to a Honda Civic and a Audi station wagon. :whistling:
