So, for those of you that have any interest in watching a lap that never happened - here it is. I also have it on good authority, that it is, in fact, quite categorically THE BEST DAMN LAST LAP THAT NEVER HAPPENED, PERIOD!

what a great lap.. no telling how many position swaps there..  Crazy crazy crazy! great job by all involved.

Thanks for posting.. Very bummed, I brought my video card home and went to watch and all I have is STL race, some practice and qualifying, but neither SM race.  Stinks! I watched this lap 5-6 times, so many passes and position changes, it is crazy

OMG that could have been my video, except I thought the grey on the far side of the green was part of the track. BTW mid pack cars are really fast.

Danny, great video! That was a cool lap! Intense! As good as that video is you are gonna love seeing what Chris pulls off out of my rear camera! Give me a few days... My race computer is Skiing in Colorado with Robert, and after all the hard work he put in I'm not gonna ask him to post until he gets back. Or maybe we can do what u said and I'll send it to u for a split screen sync.

Tom - beautiful car!  Gary - likewise, thanks for leaving me room when I had to make the most of the twisty bits.

 

Alex - it wasn't so much them as it was my rental.  It was like that all weekend long with every car on track during the test days, practice, qual, etc.  I couldn't stay in a draft, let alone bump the car in front.  By race 1, I had stopped shaking my head, holding my hands up in the air and screaming WTF.  :buried:

It took awhile.. But I finally got the video from Craigs rear cam ! 

This lap really is what Sm is all about. Look at the controlled chaos behind Craig.  Some awesome moves by Chris . Great Driving by Andrew, Chris,Danny and Craig!

The best part about this video is I had already won the race :) :)

Chris, that was no doubt some of the best moves I have seen!!!    3 and 4 wide, that is a great representation of SM racing.
