I'm swapping in the new RP. Do the lower bolts on the TB need a sealant or something applied to the threads?

While doing this job, I couldn't resist puting on some Whitesnake and telling my wife that I was removing the RP from the Red Dragon so she can breath better. But keep it quiet cause its not exactly street legal.

No just the opposite, I use a little anti seize on them. since your going to be swapping between the 37 and the 41 depending on going to NASA or SCCA, you want them to come off freely. They have torque spec but I just hand tighten them. I take it from this thread you got it. Is that a little sucker or what.

Remember that they'll be hot as hell when you loosen them to remove your plate. I burned fingers on multiple weekends last season. Pulling the TB forward to get the plate out is skin cooking time too. Fun fun!
