Anyone going to Pocono this year? I know last year the SM guys Boycotted. I figured this year may be different since the track has been re-done.

The track is very different now from previously. While it's still a work in progress, it's MUCH better. The regional race on mothers day weekend was great! I'll be going.

Boycott??

The National in August is late and most everyone has collected their invitation to the runoffs.....

I don't see a July event??

As much as I hate to say it....i feel like there are just too many races in our region this year.  Either that or I'm getting old and can't break away as much as I used to.

Vick I couldn't agree more!

We/NER have dropped two events in the last 3 years, yet others continue to add events??

Can't let a free weekend go!

Marcus, are you doing Pocono or looking at other options. After doing two many 2 car races last year I'd like to know what the numbers look like before I register.

I plan on going, and I'm pretty sure Tony will be there. So with you, that makes three. Also, Andrew Warren posted above that he is going, so that would make four. Still not a steller showing. Any word if AJ plans on going?

I don't if AJ's up to racing yet as he had some health issues. That weekend is also SCCA at WGI which I'm considering if our car count is really low.

Tony,

I am a firm yes for Pocono. I'll sign up ASAP.

BTW, the crap I've been seeing in my oil filter is bearing material. Changed the oil this weekend and cut open the filter, and it was way worse than before. Still caught it in time though. Just finished pulling the engine. New bearings will be ordered tomorrow. Good thing there's a four day weekend coming up.
