[Joe (dad) Jordan]

The headline may be misleading as my brother Jim Jordanis heavily involved in this 4 part series on Patrick Dempsey Racing to Lemans.  It may come as a shock, but Patrick Dempsey is the star!

 

I have been able to see some of the rough cuts and I think most on here will enjoy it, it is a REAL look into the trials of any team trying to go race at Lemans.

 

It is not a fluff piece by any means, a real honest piece.

 

My brother Jim, who many of you know on the West Coast has been involved with Dempsey Racing for 4 or 5 years calling team strategy etc.  I have also worked as a spotter when needed,  

 

Jim is the main man on our spec miata technical side, He builds and rebuilds transmissions, builds engines etc.  I do the setup and Joey is the grunt mechanic doing the heavy lifting and also the "NUT" behind the wheel.

The insight to the celebrity that is Jim Jordan.  He worked on preparing the 2 cars for the NASA Nationals and the runoffs yesterday morning,  Drove home an hour away around luchtime, picked up his family and went to PD's house for a launch party and to watch the first episode, he is back today in the morning after his hour drive down to keep preparing the spec Miata and STL/PTD cars....  The life of a celebrity!
