I have a 2002 with the master cylinder that doesn't use a banjo bolt for the line.  I was really liking the Iron Canyon adapter, but there isn't an existing bolt.

What other way can I get a sensor in?  Can I just insert a "T" in the brake line using a compression fitting?  If I do this, I may remote mount to get any stress off of the line.

Does anybody make a fitting that is Mazda brake line F/M and a third port for 1/8 NPT?

Just did the install on Mikes car. Dissemble the master cylinder, drill and tap a hole in the end of the master cylinder, install sensor, reassemble master cylinder. Drill the hole at a down angle so the air will bleed out of the sensor.

You can do a "T" fitting in a line. But do not use a compression fitting. You need to do a double flare joint.

I thought about this but didn't know whether the sensor would interfere with the piston.  There's an unused "nub" on the inboard side that's calling my name...

if you put it in the end it will not impact the seals on the piston.

Or, put it in the end of the prop valve capnut .... because who knows when you might need to tighten or loosen that "pressure sensor"!  :spin:

Here is the finished installation.  I got the AEM sensor, which said it came with a 1/8 NPT connection, so I pre-drilled and tapped the end of the Master Cylinder.  Mistake, as it did NOT come with a 1/8 NPT male connection.  Luckily, it was a larger AN connection, so I was able to save the cylinder by re-drilling and tapping for the larger fitting.
