This guy should be banned like he was on other Miata forums. He's also under the username Racing Grandpa. He swings around all these wild ideas and project builds and is always trying to do it the cheapest way possible. Also, I've seen arrive and drive autoX programs to a 25 Hour endurance build proposals just in the last couple weeks. Neither of which are really happening.

Sorry you feel that way about me.  However, if you checked with Corky Bell, Bill Mercer, Tom VanDelzen and about 5 others that are experts in FI and Miatas, I think you would feel differently about me.

Then as for business plans.  I have seen hundreds of them.  You can check with John Stumpf, President & CEO, of Wells Fargo Bank.  Wells is the 20th largest public company in the world and I used to work with John.

There is a difference between cheap and least expensive.  It comes down to the ROA one wants to achieve.  The AutoX program is a loss leader.

My program provides benefits for SCCA and other motorsports club members that no one I know of provides.  I can only do this because I am retired, want to help others, do not need an additional income and do not have to borrow any money for a $50k investment.

As for M.net it is full of posers and the administrator did not do the job he should have to keep the turbo heads from leaving.  The war between those with the Fastforward Supercharges Coldside M62 and turbos got out of hand.  It ended up resulting in losing Gord, Emeritus Moderator, from the forum.  The moderators pick and choose who is and is not advertising in their posts.  In my case, I provided help to those in WA needing help with their high performance Miatas by providing links to two shops web sites.  That was considered advertising.  But those that provide links to non-sponsor products are not advertising.

In my opinion M.net has problems and I just left because I wanted to.  I have sufficient resources without it.  My wife is the administrator for an international engineering forum.  The moderators all have Ph.Ds and their charge is to weed out the posers.

Be careful about making assumptions like the posers do

Yup, anybody with an incomplete idea should definitely be banned.  Likewise, no one should be allowed to ask the advice of others, do something cheaply, or think of two ideas in the same fortnight.  How dare he?

I'll take it for the team. PAUL, you have unlimited access to all sorts of big time race teams/race people. You were. Very successful banking executive. You hAve seen more business plans than all of us combined!

Quit wasting your time with us losers, go paint yor trailer to match your "xyz" miata and enjoy the rewards of an oppprtunity "that a all wish we could do".

But quit wasting our time on here. drago, a little help, please. :)

When rookies come on the site, we all jump through hoops to help them, hl, I sold my last car for 2k less cause I liked the kid and thought he would be good for SM. But this. Belongs on another site.

Ban me, I've already had 3 glasses of wine and my wife still likes me.

I was being civil and giving you the benefit of the doubt but I find it deliciously ironic that you refer to some here as posers when they (and myself) are experienced racers while you keep thrashing to flush out some sort of racing business.  Regardless of how many business plans you claim to have seen, the questions you are asking and the information you are providing indicate to even the most casual racer that you do not have any idea of what you are doing.  It's really basic stuff, like a tow vehicle for example.  Or being surprised at a six figure racing budget.  Folks have been cutting you a lot of slack here but you are pretty much at ground zero for the most subscribed club sports car race class in the US and dare I say the planet.  IOW, most of the gang here knows shit from Shinola.  And we ain't seein' any Shinola...

Jackson(dstevens)...right or wrong, your ability to cut to the chase and lay things out as you see them has always been appreciated! Your absence was noticed by me for sure...glad you're coming back around. You need to put your old avatar back up!

i am  planning on turning up the turbo boost on my sm so that i can rent my car, but i will only rent it out to juan poblo montoya becuase he is very experienced and can easily use the extra hp.  i know he wouldnt want to rent it if the trailer did not match since he is a german race car driver I will paint it all as a german flag.  I was going to built the car into an F1 so we would be ready for this years F1 race of the americas but then redbull told me they spent more money then god so i am having to rethink all that nonsense.  i am doing this because i can afford it without takng a loan, and my ss# is 442-22-3897 check with barak obama he will know that i am real and i am doing this thing.  i have retired now and i beleive i will provide scca with a service that noone else is doing.  I am going to get mad after all this incessant posting and leave mazdaracers.com because the moderators are powerless to do anything but let their friends post whatever they want but wont let me do anything.  I am just trying to help people so please keep that in mind!  Now i need to go get my rig ready

HA! Yeah, I read the beginning & end. Too much blather in-between. If he has the money and wants to help folks, he could just sponsor me. If anyone needs a cash infusion into this racing gig, I do!

I am going to put $40,000 in to building a Spec Miata for someone to drive.  But it will not be YOU.

And how much did you put into your car.  Not near $40,00

All 3 Miata forums with lots of posers can ban me - I do NOT CARE

So go
