I'm tired of throwing my belts over my seat, closing my door on them and reaching for them getting in, unflipping. I see the Safecraft Enduro one but I didn't want to pay for a new set with mine being fine.

Questions....
Legal or not,
Based on material you use? Surgical tubing?
Where you put it, not on the buckle. Above.
Don't cut, pock, penetrate the belts. Clamp, glue?
After Market kit already?
What do you got?

Fire away.

We have used the surgical tubing and surgical strap. The tube last longer the strap works better. We laced it into the belt return parts so no cutting poking or gluing required.

Thanks Mike.

I may make some clamps that clamp to the belts with a mounting hole for the tubing since it's easy for me to do here in my machine shop. Otherwise lace it.

Just checking before I go off and do something.
Thanks,

This year I purchased velcro straps that are used for securing electrical extension cords for storage. They velro and "strap" closed. I plan on using them as a sleeve around the belts since they are flat and then securing the surgical tubing to that. I got them Home Depot or Lowes....

I hope that this makes it a quick installation for Enduro's and then I can take back out and store. I will let you know how it works. We plan on using the set up in April at a 12 hour.

I don't see how a velcro strap would not bend the belts up without something flat backing it.

I'll show you mine if you show me yours :D

I plan on using it over or next to the return buckle.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with Johnny. I'd like something like that too.

Mike, does this confirm that you will be racing at the NJMP 12 hour? If so how many cars do you plan on bringing? The more the better.

I use surgical tubing for the lap belts and secure it to the belt ends with small zipties. I know my lap belts will always be in the same place every time I get into the car.

Looks good. You might find the tubes bothersome being between your helmet and the headrest. Typically they hold the belts apart as well as up.

I used the Schroth Enduro belts in my SM. They came with a bungee type cord that i secured with mini zipties.

You need to shorten the tubing so it will hold the belts up higher and out of your way.

The way you have it now looks like you would still end up sitting on them, or have to wiggle under them instead of just plopping into the seat.
