NASA could fill this event up by lifting their five race qualifying rule. With everything going on this year, that's asking too much.
Along with no late fee another great idea! Again, I would guess there are quite a few out there that would do this event no question if these 2 items are waived.
To Answer your question Jim...in a normal year there would be a lot more entries. NASA is less subscribed on the west coast...especially Nor cal region and Oregon. Not sure on SoCal. A majority of top drivers(and mid pack)form Washington to San Diego are SCCA first. A lot of Money has been spent this year on Majors and Runoffs. Miller got a lot of crossover because it was the only thing out here last year. Different story now.
As far as which of our 3 tracks in NorCal is the "best", I think it is just a preference thing. Personally I think Sonoma is the most technical and requires the biggest set of jewels to truly be fast
