When i purchased my car i noticed the rear oxygen sensor hose clamped to the outside of the exhaust.

I figured if i removed it all Id get was a code.

To my surprise the first day on the track as soon as the car warmed up and achieved closed loop it started popping/farting/and surging real bad.

I know it was caused by the sensor because when i reattached it all was well again.

The rear sensor failed completely on me a couple of track trip later and ruined my day.

Is this something that any one else is experiencing?

I read a few people just said that they removed it and they got a code and that was that.

and what is everyone doing with the rear o2?

You can take it out, just make sure its grounded. You can make a L-bracket and mount it under the rear package tray or where ever you desire. Main thing is it needs to be grounded.
