AIM has all of the data setup for the Mazda2 with their solo DL unit, plug it in to the OBD part and you get it all.

Ok so you need the Race Keeper system for PWC right? It would make sense to me to buy that as your only DA system, rather than to purchase something else for club racing. And since the Race Keeper is collecting data from the OBDII port, you're getting data about all of the essential systems, not to mention the sync'd video feeds.

Thing is, I don't see an actual dash display with the Race Keeper. They've got the wireless router and smart phone/tablet app, but is a touchscreen system realistic in a racing environment? I would think they'd have something similar to AIM and the other DA manufacturers out there in terms of an actual in-car data display.

Outside of water and oil temp, you really don't need much data display or anything of that nature while on track. Lap timer helps for sure, I picked up a used AIM Mychron Light for $50 and it does a great job. But there's no real reason to have both the Race Keeper and the Solo DL.

I'd want water and oil pressure as well (and alarm support on the dash so it catches your attention).  Shift lights are super useful.  Predictive lap timing a must IMO in a modern system (as opposed to just getting a lap time when you cross start/finish.)

Looks like you get a pretty loaded system with dash, predictive lap timing, OBDII input, and video integration for seven hundred bucks. Not a bad deal. Add some separate shift lights and you're there.

BTW, I picked up a 2014 Mazda2 today so I'm officially on the B-Spec bandwagon! Thanks again to everyone for all your help and advice so far. I have A LOT to get done over the winter. Really looking forward to running with the west coast guys in the majors next season.
