SFI now good for 5 years in SCCA, how about NASA?

Getting logbooks and annuals for cars this next week, and realized I don't know if both organizations are on the same page.

Anyone know off hand?

Kyle

Same SFI and FIA standards are followed in NASA.

My understanding is that NASA will be continuing to follow SFI recommendations of Two years. SCCA has chosen to make their own call on how long to accept belts rate by SFI.  SFI has not changed their standard of replacing belts after 2 years. SCCA has elected to create their own 5 year acceptance, contrary to SFI actual specifications.

This is my understanding of the situation.  I may be wrong, it has happened before.
