LRDC Spec Miata Series supporting Lime Rock’s Season-Opener The Trans-Am Series, May 22 & 23

It's Saturday during Memorial Day Weekend at Lime Rock, and you are pacing in the Chalet, anticipating “cars on course.” But unlike years past, it’s you suiting up and you are ready to head down to the 7:30 a.m. Drivers Meeting. By 9:00, it’s you in a Miata – lined up in false grid, moments from the start of the qualifying session...

The crowds are arriving but you don't care, all you can think about is putting up the best lap you can. It’s the Alternate Uphill Course and you know how to get through this complex quickly. And you do, and the other corners too, and you’ve snagged a really good starting position... By 10:00 or so, you head up to the LRDC Outfield Chalet for a quick bite before the big race. Family members and friends smile and wish you good luck and -- but don't get too full… the race starts at 11:00!

Who wins? Does it really matter? You're in the Chalet an hour after the race, having lunch and a beer, and enjoying the Trans Am races… certainly you’re replaying in your head what you did right (and wrong!). You're getting feedback from Simon in the Chalet and putting together a game plan to be even faster.

It's good to be a Club member…So! Who’s in?!

For those who want to race in any of the Member races – who wouldn’t? – please fill out the Race Series Form (link below) to let us know which races you will be attending. Note: The first race is now May 9.
