Averaged out, I think one or two people have died in the week long event every year since it started in 1907. We just lost someone in qualifying two days ago  :pessimist: I would consider it the world's most dangerous sporting event having watched a few documentaries on it.

I don't think I would volunteer for the turn 2 flag stand behind some tires and 1 piece of k-wall with those trucks coming at me!
