For those wanting to get a jump on next season ...

Is it reasonable to think that the rules per the September 2015 GCR, updated to reflect the language from Racing Memo 15-13 on plunge cut, would be the rule set to follow to ensure a compliant engine for 2016?

As I read it, Fast Track only made one change. That change makes any modification below the plunge cut illegal, whether by engine builder or the factory. It no longer matters who made the cut, it isa DQ offense.

There are no new engine rules in the pipeline for 2016.  There are some bones being thrown to the 1.6 cars, but nothing to worry about.
