Sorry but my profile is not up to date
The 99' is gone and I recently purchased a 94 . Still haven't worked on it much as I'm trying to get my F Prod car ready.
the 94" will be mostly for regionals with the' F 'car for Majors and the Runoffs. No delusions of going to the Runoffs in a 94 SM...plus the older I get the faster I used to be.

If the NA 1.8 is equal and doesn't need anything then I have some questions.
How many NA 1.8 drivers that switched to NB have slower lap times? I know plenty of drivers that have switched to NB and I guess some magic pixie dust was sprinkled on them and they run faster lap times overnight.
How many NA 1.8's have been on the podium against a top level NB at a Major event?
How many NB drivers have complained in the last few years that the NA 1.8 has to much power and can handle better than the NB and wins to many races?
If the NA 1.8 had a 1% advantage over the NB some top level drivers would have one in their stable but they don't.
i'm one NA 1.8 driver that switched to a NB (2002)
my old 96 still has the track record at NJMP and Watkins Glen short course. numerous times i still cannot go as fast as that car in my current ultra top shelf VVT car. built and driven well, you can be competitive IMO. it's not going to be the ideal car for every track but in the right hands with a serious budget behind it, it can win.
My NA 1.8 car was another top shelf build with over a decade SM experience behind it. will i go back and try another? probably not. simply put the street value of one is so poor there is no way i'm investing $30,000 + 400 hours to lose at least 50% after a year or two.
after racing ITA, FP, GT3, SSB and ITS classed cars, i'm done losing my shirt on the sale of other classed racecars.
most other talented driver's/builders i'm sure would agree.

Naw, throw Denny in there also.
You go on vacation across the big pond and now it's retrain time. In the other post I was attempting to suggest Johnny's return re-learning time was over after his bought with illness.
I'll try to help the two of you out.
Long gone Johnny, not so lost soul Johnny, there is a SMAC thread for each org. Johnny's post #110 seemed to be a SMACK post for NASA and SCCA. There was a SMACK thread existing for each org. at his time of post.
Your welcome back part (where everyone welcomes Johnny back from his illness time away) is over. Please use the search for finding unknown threads.
If the two of you don't get it now, well!!!
RON, were on the same page.

You got me Johnny, there should have been a K after the SMAC. What the hell, SMAC OR SMACK. Sound the same.
