Blake is a Kid, he has just been around forever.

And I did not mean to imply a maturity deficiency just that he is closer in age to Selin than he is me.

Selin, great video!!

Unbelievable pass on Blake...I think he knew it was coming but it took a 100% commitment on your part to make it stick.

Just out of curiosity, what were you switching "on" the dash under the red flip up? and then switching off after you passed Carbonell?

I'm assuming it was a fan switch for cooling when you were in the draft.

Really great driving when the adrenaline was pumping at a maximum rate towards the end of the race!

After watching that amazing drive, I'm pretty sure the nitrous is in his veins.  Great drive Selin!

Congratulations on the win.

Other weekend comments

While we had a modest turnout for SM standards at the NOLA Majors, I think pretty much everyone can say they had a great time and will be coming back. This is quickly becoming one of the "must do" events of the year in my program. The track facilities are really nice, very challenging, and you can't beat the Cajun hospitality & food.

Sydney Yagel & James Rogerson are improving the event every year, and listening to feedback from the racers. They are both active racers, so it is nice to have an ear of someone who "gets it". I was very happy with the condensed Majors schedule that was utilized and it afforded plenty of track time.

Ask them to get rid of the gravel trap in T6. Or move it back.

It was put in for Indy car and I am guessing only Indy Car will be able to move it.  Too bad because it does make things a bit more dangerous if someone gets stuck.

Indy cars aren't racing there this season.  Not sure about the future.

Want to echo what Blake said about Sydney Yagel & James Rogerson - the registration was the best I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED, even better than Road Atlanta, which till this point set the standard.

And yes the compact schedule was a huge improvement, although I would also have preferred to eliminate the Q2 on Sunday as I and many others would be happy with taking the best times from Q1 and Race 1. Wanted to run the STL on Sunday but could not make any flights that night, so had to miss the race.

I heard lots of people say they didn't think the Sunday AM qualifying was necessary and that they would have preferred to have a closed wheel & open wheel warm up and just get to the races. When you think about it, almost everyone has a 300 mile or more trip home. So, getting on the road a couple hours earlier would help everyone.

If you agree, suggest this on the post race survey.

I agree with all the comments about the facility. And it was much warmer this year which made it even better.

I would be in favor of scratching the second qualifying and having another race because that is more fun
