The late Brian Holtz postulated a rule:  The number of on track incidents is exponentially related to the number of cars on track.  The magic number, regardless of track length, is somewhere between 30-35 cars.

That make sense, club dictated, because LeMons has 8 gazillion per mile.

You guys have the most rodeos under your belts. When do the complaint start to raise ? 40+, 50+ cars or depends on the run group?

If we ever get to the point where incidents are being recorded digitally at more than a handful of tracks it would be possible to do that.  Unless someone wants to fund a significant data entry project.

That is an electronic log book and should absolutely be the future way to do it.   Motorsports Reg already does this, but SCCA wants nothing to do with it.....  I guess it makes too much sense.  I pads are kinda scary......

Well they have progressed to hardcard scanners at Majors, so SCCA is headed in the right direction.....but still a long way to go.
