I have converted my 1990 Miata from SM to STL.  I will start the year running with stock fuel tank.  I would like to install an 8 gal fuel cell.  Does anybody have a used one?

Thanks Chuck

You might check on the prodracing.com site.

Will your cell be located in the passenger seat area?

Check with your local circle track guys.  Once you get out of hornets or mini stock most classes require a cell.  The last one we put in a car was 8 gal, steel can, tip over valve, AN fittings, bladder, no foam for a couple hundred, new.  You can get used blow moulded poly cells for under $100 bucks at some tracks.

Benchy do they allow cells in the interior?  When I've used them they needed to be separated by a bulkhead/firewall of some sort.

As I read the SCCA ST rules, yes and yes.
