Race Monitor appears to be it's usual crap for the first practice session

That is an impressive field for the first race.  This series is going to do well for Mazda.

 

Also count me impressed that Long Road Racing was able to deliver all those cars in such a short amount of time!

Can I be the first to call a TFB car on the podium! There are a lot of great drivers in there, but the west coast has some talent that rarely gets seen ( most of the racing is Rockies east) by the majority of road racers. Either way, what a field! Top 10 is probably a really good finish!

Kinda weird only 15 cars ran the first session, and many cars only got a couple of laps in session 2.  Heading up tomorrow to check it out.

major transponder issues, most all the cars ran. 25 cars had transponder issues. The issue is amb and new transponders actually

On MX-5cup.com (with the hyphen), I see now where they have a link to the grid sheets (click on the race track name).

Bummer to see Drennan get punted like that while leading(I think he was leading). Maybe the officials will punt Foley back some spots in the results once it's official.

another place mentioned Robby got a points penalty and fine for it but his position stands.

Scca pro racing does not penalize finishing positions. They asses a fine and season points deduct only

Typically it's a 125$ fine and 10 points I think.

Holy moly!! Best battle of top 5 in closing laps I've ever seen. Great show.
