Show me where I said he's off on his numbers.  I said they are not typical of what others are getting at different tracks in SM.  Plus trying to drum up entries for our enduro. :P  It isn't rocket science that (12 * 7) < (60 * 6/4).  We'd run out of fuel if we were only getting 7 minutes per gallon, period.  So like I said either there is something different about his car, the track(s) he runs at, or a combination of both.  BTW if you are talking about the 25 hours E3 allows quite a bit more power than SM, so it's entirely possible that he's burning more fuel than what an SM car would.

That would be many cars on many tracks in SM trim in sprint races... Whatever, you must be right!

Of course I'm right.  You're right too.  That has never been the point.  The point has been we get different mileage.  People can figure out their own easily enough.  The whole "joke" was because you signed your post "ymmv" and yes my mileage apparently does vary from yours.  It's a moot point anyway.  Throw in an extra gallon of gas.  No one is going to win or lose a sprint race due to ~7 lbs.  Running out of gas would really suck though.  I just find it interesting that your formula has you coming up short in your typical 90 minute and 3 or 6 hour enduro formats.  I went back and checked our enduro results and I went well beyond 90 minutes in my stiint.

I suppose I shouldn't also derail the thread with gas doesn't really weigh 7 lbs per gallon either. :P
