Wanted to let the SM crowd know about some events that I'm hosting on the west coast.
We hope you can join us for a private track event, focused on driver development. High Performance Driving University (HPDU) is hosting an event at Buttonwillow on Friday, July 22 and at Auto Club Speedway on Friday, September 9th leading into the POC race weekend. We only offer 40 spots in total for our event and the track is open all day. No sessions. No waiting.
More info: http://www.hpdu.org
HPDU events are open passing, our drivers are experienced and comfortable passing in the corners. Racecars and race team testing is welcome! That being said, we enforce safe, courteous driving. We are not racing and we won't tolerate dive bomb passes or aggressive driving.
In addition to our low enrollment, open track format, we bring in professional coaches, equipped with AiM data systems and GoPro cameras to work with you, one-on-one to analyze and improve your driving. Many drivers don't even realize where they are losing out until they examine data with a professional coach.
We hope to give you more in one day than you would get out of multiple events with other organizations.

Hope to see some Miatas out there!
