Site tech tip, Posting, Quoting another person

1. You can cut and paste if you want but it could be a little confusing from the quote ends to what you say begins.

 

2 You can hit the "Quote" button under each post and it should post with the person that quoted it, time and date in your box.

You may need your cursor in your post box, starting a post.

If it doesn't you may want to try pressing the BBCode Mode (upper left corner) of your post box. Sometimes that work, also for links your trying to paste.

But we do have a "Link" button too, looks like a green chain.

 

Anyway from there you can edit/delete anything within the box if you want to shorten the quote to get to your subject.

Please don't put word in people months/quote

If you edit the box at all the name and date of the poster/quoter will disappear.
