My 1999 Miata street car will not start.   It has no fuel and no spark. I have swapped over the engine relay, cam angle sensor and the crack angle sensor from my racecar and it still won't start.  Checked all fuses and still nothing.  Where else should I be looking.  Thanks in advance.

Try starting it with the second/different key.

There is a relay under the steering wheel that has giving us problems in the past...between the main distribution box and the fuel pump. And it was not the relay put the actual connectors. For sure we had no fuel but dont remeber if it also was spark? Do you have fuel pressure? Do you have injector pulse? Not sure on a 99 but I know earlier 1.8 cars the injector pulse is ground.

I did not check the pressure or pulse. Will do so when I get home tonight along with the plugs under the dash.

Sorry Michael, I looked at his profile 2003, when his post words said 1999.

Did a little search and found this to be interesting. 1999 wouldn't start, their checking all 4 plug wires for spark.  From the video verbiage it seems they had checked fire and they had fire (presume #1 cylinder) and after checking all 4 cylinders they have no fire at #4.  With limited info, seems something randomly stopping the firing at different cylinders?

Damn, let's get to these engines with no spark plugs.
