How many transmissions were replaced that weekend? so many second gear corners and shifting under a load in a turn. Tough business. Spencer you had a good weekend.

During Race 1 I started to get a slight crunch in the 2-3 shift syncro, so made the decision to switch transmissions before Race 2. Completely removed the crunch, totally butter smooth 2-5 shifts, DOH! Should have stayed with the old box!!!

IDK..

My box is 1.5 seasons old.. been perfect..  I had ONE 1/2 a missed shift out of 11 and decided to check shift bushing. It was a little wore, I changed it and figured i was good to go. I either shifted very slow or missed it from lap 2-3 on.  I think if you were crunching, you likely would not have finished. that track is just very abusive on boxes.. shifting 2-3 while loaded and bouncing over curbs 5 times lap destroys these boxes

here is my race 2 video, my fastest laps are my last 2, looks like i had the fastest lap 14, and 15 all by myself when i was finally figuring out the track

Skill, luck or both - that was a darned good effort to keep the path of the car straight during that spin.
