7 of 10 text messages indicate that people are not getting that this is a joke at BMW's welded-ring-gear-open-diff expense, and a testament to the bulletproof engineering of the Miata :)

Even the real BMW LSD is a bit of a joke:

I beg to DIFFer.  I've had my 335i since '07 and with 50 extra chipped HP (now 350HP), and after nearly 100K miles I'm still on the original trans and diff.  However, my 125-127HP '95 1.8 Spec Miata (depending upon which restrictor plate the SMAC has previously determined necessary to keep this car from being an overdog)  has been through 3 transmissions since '07 in only a few thousand miles.  My wife has probably hit plenty of curbs in the BMW and missed some shifts without my knowledge so yes I think it's a fair comparison.

LOL, I had to, my phone was blowing up and too many people missed the dry humor at BMW's expense, and instead thought the video was me being mad at one of my Miata diff customers.

I share your dry humor about BMW's 'tech' and 'mechanical expertise'
