As many of you know, on the Saturday night following the first SM race at the recent Road Atlanta double national a few of us drove the cars across the street to Lanier Speedway for a few hours of oval racing.

Yes, In SCCA trim, we even have parity in Ovals... We had two 1.6's show up and Corey won in Cliff Blanchards down on power 1.6. (Well prepped car, driven by a good driver) Where is the dam duck emoticon?

Did anyone bother to put an oval setup on their car? Positive camber on the left front? Disconnect the right front brake caliper? Stagger tire pressures?

Did anyone bother to put an oval setup on their car? Positive camber on the left front? Disconnect the right front brake caliper? Stagger tire pressures?


No, we had a gentleman's agreement (not unlike the ERC fuel one) not to change the cars other than putting junked tires on.
