1991 Miata

Upon laying the front sway bar on a level surface, the drivers side at the end of the bar by the mounting holes is raised 5/16 of an inch along with a very slight inward twist. Passenger side is level.

Is the bar designed this way because of the chassis design or is it bent?

As always, much appreciated,

Jim Venable

My take without seeing sway bar.

If it's bent within the length from bushing to bushing, not normal and will not rotate freely as required. Bent outside bushing? May impact mounting with end links and end link ball joint may bind, not good.

They are not built that precise. Make sure it rotates in the mounts, then adjust the endlinks to match
