On the clutch pedal there are two switches, one up high on the fire wall and the second one is down low, it is in the same spot that the brake light switch is on the brake pedal.

My question is what is the second switch, down low on the front of the clutch pedal for?

I think the switch up high near the firewall is the safety switch that keeps the motor from starting till you depress the clutch.

Second switch is for cruise shut off and idle control. I know this when the second switch is not plugged in or working properly a vvt car will be darn near impossible to drive in the paddock

That is related to my question. I have a VVt, it will not Idle so I am told to cut the plunger on that lower switch will cure it.

I have cleaned the Throttle body, i have also replaced the alternator, so when i put it the clutch it idles fine.
