Myself and two cohorts are thinking about the paddock situation. Two of us didn't run the Runoffs last year and one of us (me) has never been. We're thinking the Mazda tent is probably the best place to make sure we paddock together.
Does anyone have any info on the Mazda tent for for the Runoffs, including how to sign up, cost, space provided, etc? I'd be interested to hear about prior year experiences too since none of the three of us have been in the Mazda tent before.
Thanks in advance,
Brian

They will usually send an email to Majors participants asking who would like a space in the tent. If you don't have a "team", the Mazda tent is a good place to be.

The up side to the tent is that you get to meet and know the Mazda team and other fellow racers, plus you have nice dry accommodations. The downside is that if you have lots of tools and parts in your trailer you will have to shuttle your stuff to the tent. I work out of my trailer so i did not do it. but the parking and ability to work out of your trailer at Ind is not a guarantee so the Tent may be the way to go.

Thanks for the feedback. Given that we will be there for a week and I'm towing with an open trailer, the Mazda tent sounds like the place to be.
Thanks,
Brian
