The Gingerman Majors is this weekend and nobody seems to care. The host regions put on a great event at a tight twisty, DRIVERS track. Leave your ponies at home, but bring your A-game.

 

Great party on Saturday night sponsored by SCCA. Even greater party sponsored by Advanced Autosports and V-2 Racing on Friday night. Even the SRF/FE guys are having a party on Friday.

 

Watch for Bender, Burdzy, Hille and M. Novak (alphabetical order) to be the front runners. Don't count out the locals and always expect the unexpected.

 

Maybe even a surprise or two!!!!!

We are the quiet conference, not a lot of smack.

 

Thanks in advance to Advanced and V2 for hosting a dinner Friday night and especially to Ann (Mrs. Wheeler ) who likely deserves most of the credit. 

 

Also does anyone have any advice on fishing the pond?  Recommended bait or location?  I may give that a try.

I think people should be paying attention to my guy! Adam Roberts has been there already this year at least twice and should be up on the wheel this weekend. He will be a threat to win! You heard it here first!

Fuel consumption was high for the weekend. 1 keg of Oberon and a gallon of Fireball. And Ann makes a killer cauliflower and jalapeño salad.

Agreed.. Voytek has been a contender for a long time... Bender driving very well in a very good car.  Bender will likely be a factor at the Runoffs. 

Hille in P2 and Adam Roberts in P4.. All four guys are VERY good!

It's really a shame it's so easy to qualify for the Runoffs because it's SUMMER in the upper Midwest and races like Gingerman and Grattan don't get the car count they deserve. Mr. President, please take notice.
