I'm looking to upgrade my suit from an old (and very warm) Sparco.

I've been looking at the Sparco victory rs-4 and the Sparco sprint rs2.1. Has anybody tried either or both of these?

I like the look of the boot cut suits better personally, and that seems to limit my options.

Any thoughts on the pros and cons? 

Other recommendations?

Got a Hocotex suit.  Best money I ever spent.  Suit is so cool I wear it in the pits while waiting for the next grid.  In the past, I jumped into shorts as soon as I got back to the pits.

I have also been thinking about getting a new suit.  The Adidas Climacool line has sparked my interest. I think their suits look cool, but I really like their shoes and gloves. Anyone try Adidas yet?

Lol I didn't know he had Adidas until the other day. But, man I wish Nike would come out with a motorsports line. I have been team Nike for forever because of the soccer teams I have been on were sponsored by Nike.  I would be the freshest dude in the paddock!

 

Also, I would rather ask Acosta for fashion advice than driving.  I could drink a 24 pack and still drive straighter than he can sober.

I will never buy a Sparco suit,  They arn't anatomically designed for the racing position, they are meant to look good when standing up.  Everybody I've seen wearing a sparco in the car has this huge lump of material bunched up on your chest and belly, one of the only places that air can get to your torso when you're driving.  Look for an anatomically designed suit.  Some companies even have entry level models that are anatomically cut.  Best decision I ever made. 

 

I bought an OMP suit and it fits amazingly, cheap too.

I actually have seen that suit, my friend bought one.  I am glad to see that the arms and legs are now anatomically cut, I didn't hear that during the sales pitch.  That new material is absolutely heavenly,  my friends says it feels like he's racing in his pajamas.  However I'd like to draw attention to how loose the belly section of the suit still is in the video.  When sitting down in an upright racing seat, this suit still bunches up to 2-3 layers thick in the mid region, I've seen it first hand on two drivers.  This could lessen the effectiveness of the breath-ability of the new material.  My OMP does not,  It is very tight in the belly (probably also due to my beer gut) but it also slightly pulls me into a racing position.  

 

Of course, a suit that is comfortable when you first put it on while standing up will sell better, because it has a great first impression , which is why I assume Sparco sticks with this design.  

 

This WR sales rep in the video is a real stand up guy.  He knows everything there is to know about driver gear, but for me, the Sparco just didn't fit right in the mid section, ironically, they were just too loose.
