I just put new pads (Carbotech XP10 front, XP8 rear) and rotors on my car, and the first time out on track will be this weekend, at the Fun One at Watkins Glen. Due to the packed schedule, there are no practice sessions unless you come a day early, which I cannot do. So, 8AM on Saturday is qualifying, and I will not have had a chance to bed the pads and rotors beforehand.
Aside from being more cautious than usual at he beginning of the session, is there anything I should do to bed the brakes during qualifying? I'm not fighting for a place at the front of the pack, I just want to make sure my brakes will be in good shape for next season.
