If I had been making a point that relied on the precision with which they were built you would be the first to remind me that they were designed as a budget chick car reimagining of a Lotus Elan with appropriate manufacturing tolerances for the purpose. And you’d be right there too.
It is by any measure a colossal overachiever. My prior comments were meant only to point out that it is a bit hard to take seriously an argument that a slightly elongated hole in a control arm is a bad idea because it isn’t appropriate for a “race car”. Whatever your position on the subject in general surely we can agree on that?
