The equipment spec part of the rules are fine. What might need work is better rules around passing, starts and not using tortured passing rules to account for starts.And BOP.
Doesn't mean that changes to equipment rules shouldn't happen, just means that they aren't needed. Depends on what you want. We could have a change in rules to remove useless blower motors. Fine. But not needed. We could have a rule allowing new wiring harnesses specific to SM racing, fine, but not absolutely necessary. We could go to stickier or harder tires, ETC. But not needed.
