Saturdays race was not your typical Spec Miata race at Road Atlanta. There were position changes and lead changes almost every lap. You would get to the front and the next thing you were shuffled back several spots. SO much fun dicing it out with Blake Carter and Goring. Very clean hard race!
Rushing off to Zimbabwe and Botsawa today but managed to get the Race 1 video loaded - stay tuned to the end, it was a really fun race. Hoping Race 2 will finish uploading before I take off. See you all at VIR
Managed to get Race 2 to load before I flew out. Not quite as many lead changes as Race 1, but there are some really exiting parts. The Race start through T1 to T3 is good, then at 17:15 the save after the unintentional bump in T10A and the ensuing yard-sale, and then the last two laps starting at 31:19 hunting down Carter with a huge moment on the last lap in T3 and the pass into T10A. And of course running 1:42.9 and 143.0 in the final laps of a race at Road Atlanta is always right on the limit. These are the races that keep us coming back for more.
