Does this axle look properly seated? There was a time gap between removing and reinstalling these and I can't remember how they looked. It took a bit of effort to get in in and did not want to pull back out, so it felt seated.

Thanks!

I thought that pic was larger when I uploaded it, was it enough to get a good view?

To piggyback on this discussion...  Is there anything special I need to do in order to reinstall these axles?  Just received mine back from Gator Axle.  Just lube the input shafts with a little diff fluid and go?  Thanks!

Make sure you don't nick the seal on the way in.

Otherwise, you got it/

This is what i do, first inspect the c-clip at the end of the axle, make sure its expanded such that there will be good bit on the internals of the diff. If need be pry it out a little to expand it. When you install i leave the top of the knuckle free and slam it home. be careful to feed it in so not to damage the seal, but a little lube on the seal and make sure that it is aligned,  Then slam it home. I then take a this screw driver and check to be sure that it is locked in place.

I was doing an alignment this weekend, so I removed the top bolt from the knuckle and gave it a couple good yanks. It stayed put, so along with others input I guess I got it seated properly.
